The overall scope of this series consists of all topics of AI which (or their integration) can be the basis of creating new techniques for real-life applications. Books published in this series should present new AI-based technological solutions or concrete intelligent systems used in a real-life field. The series welcomes works addressing real and complex issues applicable to difficult problems. The emphasis of the reported work is on new and original research and technological developments rather than reports on the application of existing technology to different sets of data. This series should not accept work which is limited in application and has solved simplified, structured problems which rarely occur in real-life situations.
