The members of Department of Information Systems regularly chair and co-organize three international scientific conferences: ACIIDS, ICCCI and MISSI, which proceedings are published within Springer’s LNCS/LNAI series.
ICCCI: International Conference on Computational Collective Intelligence
Scope of ICCCI includes methodological, theoretical and practical aspects of computational collective intelligence such as group from the collaboration and competition of many individuals (artificial and/or natural). The application of multiple computational intelligence technologies such as fuzzy systems, evolutionary computation, neural systems, consensus theory, etc., to support human and other collective intelligence and creation of new forms of CCI in natural and/or artificial systems. Three subfields of application of computational intelligence technologies to support various forms of collective intelligence are of special attention but are not the only ones: semantic web (as an advanced tool increasing collective intelligence), social network analysis (as the field targeted to the emergence of new forms of CCI), and multi-agent systems (as a computational and modeling paradigm especially tailored to capture the nature of CCI emergence in populations of autonomous individuals).

ACIIDS: Asian Conference on Intelligent Information and Database Systems
ACIIDS is an international scientific conference for research in the field of intelligent information and database systems. The aim of the conference is to provide an internationally respected forum for scientific research in the technologies and applications of intelligent information and database systems. This conference will provide an excellent opportunity for researchers to discuss modern approaches and techniques for intelligent information and database systems, and their applications.

MISSI: International Conference on Multimedia&Network Information Systems
The MISSI Conference is a biennial event that offers both the researchers and the practitioners a unique opportunity to exchange ideas, opinions and experiences. The Conference is a meeting place for the research workers from the universities, museums, libraries and other cultural institutions as well as for the representatives of multimedia software companies. The distinctive features of the Conference are long, intense and sometimes fierce discussions during both formal and informal meetings. The role of the MISSI Conference in the stimulation of new solutions in the field of multimedia and network information systems (IS) is not to be underestimated. The multimedia and network systems are especially important nowadays as the European Union has started to pay special attention to the protection and keeping record of the cultural heritage of the united Europe.
